Toyota Motor Sales, Inc. advocates the development of high performance buildings. Their dealership facilities have made an effort in creating the Image USA II prototype design. This incorporates several "Green Building" concepts in order to provide a reduced impact on natural resource consumption and enhance occupant comfort and health.

Green building elements incorporated into the design and finish specifications include:
Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM) which contain post consumer and post industrial recycled content. Roof overhang provides shading to showroom windows to reduce solar heat gain. Design incorporates natural daylight with skylights and windows and utilizes energy efficient lamp and optic technologies for both interior and exterior lighting. Acoustical ceiling tiles contain recycled content ranging from 23% to 82%. Carpets contain recycled content ranging from 40% to 60% depending on the manufacturer. Reduce water consumption by using rain or recycled water for irrigation. Plant indigenous/drought tolerant species. The new facility includes reception, new car vehicle display, new car delivery, customer lounge, service writers, locker rooms, public toilets, general managers office, parts department, 22 service bays, car wash, business development office, F&M offices, and retail parts.
